 Autumn, or fall in the US and Canada, the one of the four seasons of the year. It marks the transition from summer to winter. It's known for harvest as most foods are harvested during autumn, especially Pumpkin (associated with Halloween and Thanks Giving). In Poetry, autumn is also known for being associated with melancholy. The possibilities of summer are gone, and the chill of winter is on the horizon. Although it is associated with life degenerating, with all the trees losing leaves and life, autumn is a necessary transition that is crucial for another green and promising life.
